Beliefs & Practices

These are some general guidelines to follow when under the protection of THO. All items below were forged by Thoist Elite. You guys.

Each Thoist shall swear - unless the situation dictates otherwise. In which case use a replacement. Like Fart Handler. That's funny.

Each Thoist shall not be an asshole - unless the situation dictates otherwise.

Each Thoist shall enjoy the finer things in life.

Each Thoist shall express gratitude when deserved.

Each Thoist shall promote equality - at ALL times.

Each Thoist shall inform other Thoists of party activities scheduled for the weekend.

Each Thoist shall wear garments deemed clean by smell check. Or not.

Each Thoist shall support other Thoists whenever possible. Sharing is caring.

Each Thoist shall make like Frankie. Relax.

Each Thoist shall make suggestions for this list - To be approved and added by a worthy Thoist Zealot.

Each Thoist shall not pronunciate "THO/Thoist in any other form than the one they deem acceptable. Just know that it is "Thoe/Thoe-ist"
Each Thoist shall have a thirst for knowledge. As well as beer.

Each Thoist shall be open-minded.

Each Thoist shall use good grammar.

Each Thoist shall spell shit correctly.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ANY THOIST TAKE THEMSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY.

I am THO.Someone. I choose this name when I adopted the way of THO. Upon adoption of the THO way, a follower must choose a Thoist name. This name must begin with THO. and may be any name of your choosing, unspaced, following the period. So I know Steve and he wants to be Thoist - Steve is now THO.Steve. Upon leaving the order, an Acolyte is stripped of their THO.Name, and called an insufferable asshat on their way out the door.

Thoists can easily identify each other on the various awful internet communities they may be found in using the THO. prefix. Furthermore, if a Thoist has chosen a new name for themselves, other Thoists must refeer to the aforementioned person as such. So I know Steve and he wants to be a Thoist, but doesn't want to be THO.Steve. Steve is now THO.Dragonfury, and/or Steve. That's bad ass. That said, in real life call your friend Steve. Or Dragonfury. Whatever's clever.

Lets put an end to Human stupidity, and have freakin' sweet looking names while we do it.
